St. Georgenkirche - Hauptwerk 2 InformationThis sample set for Hauptwerk 2 contains completely reworked samples from Hauptwerk version 1.2. We revisited the original 24 bit recording session files and transferred the organ set from scratch to bring a virtually brand new sound for version 2 all in its native 24 bit resolution. New post production methods including vastly improved noise reduction were applied. Longer samples are utilized and they now contain the original full length of approximately 8 second samples per note. Each sample contains multiple loops (some up to 9 loops) for use with Hauptwerk 2 and multi loop support.
Included with this Product:
This product includes the virtual instrument on DVD-Rom containing the samples and organ definition files. Hauptwerk software is not included and must be
purchased separately (may be purchased through our online shop.)

With striking detail to the original console design the main console puts the organist virtually seated at the organ with all stop knobs and other mechanical devices within arms reach. Each draw knob is animated which allows users to experience the "old style" of stop changes. |

The Stop Control display page
mirrors the Main Console display page with large easy to read stops, pistons and
couplers. Engaging a control from this display page will automatically engage
the same control on the Main Console and vice versa. 10 General pistons are included to faciliate registration changes. |
Temperaments:
The original organ pitch is A=465(one semi-tone higher than A=440) and is tuned to an equal temperament. Included with the Hauptwerk 2 set are several historic temperament files which allow the organ to remain at A=465 while using these temperaments. The included temperaments are Silbermann, Kellner, KirnbergerIII, WerckmeisterIII, MeanTone-QuarterCommaPietroAaron, and the new Lehmann-Bach temperament. If users wish to perform on the organ at normal A=440 then you may simply choose one of the standard Hauptwerk 2 temperaments that are already included with Hauptwerk 2. These will repitch the notes to proper A=440 pitch. We would like to thank Martin Dümig for creating these special temperament files.
